Abstract

The tongs for picking up and eating snails have two arms (1,2) made of thermosetting material and joined at one end. The other end of each arm has a half-shell each (9). Operating levers (13,14) are positioned along the arms and fit into slots (7) in the arms. The levers have end-pieces (5) for the user's fingers to press against. Inside the half-shells are sharp edges (8).
