Abstract

An articulation is made in the assembly joint between two cover pieces by using the suppleness of the steel plates making the cover pieces. The first cover piece is made at the base of the building gable end wall and then lifted by a winch cable to a higher position so that the next cover piece can be made below it. The process is repeated, the star winch has branches of end spacing equal to a cover piece length, and the pieces sit on walls or beams at the building top.

Le brevet depose le 2 JUILLET 1981 a de fini un procede de montage de couverture autoportante consistant a construire les elements de couverture au sol au fur et a mesure de la mise en place,cette derniere se faisant par translation des elements sur des rails reliant le sol a l partie superieure des elements porteurs
La presente addition consiste a remplacer les rails par des etoiles a 4 branches fixee a la partie superieure du batiment ces etoiles peuvent tourner autour.de leur centre et l'ecartement des branches a leur extremite est egal a la largeur d' un element autoportant
Au debut du montage le cabie tracteur du treuil s'appuie sur l'extremite des branches de 1 'etoile qui joue le role de poulie de renvoi
Le cable descend ensuite jusque au sol ou il est fixe sur les elements de couverture a mettre en place
Par exemple si les elements sont constitues d'ondes autoportantes on procedera de la maniere suivante:
On formera d'abord la premiere onde au sol ,ELle est designee par le repere 1 sur le dessin
Le cable du treuil repere 2 est fixe sur une rive de cette onde tandis que l'autre rive a ete assemblee sur la tole suivante repere 3 La traction du cable fera basculer l'onde suivant la position repere 4 representee en pointille ,puis en continuant la translation l'onde sera soulevee en entrainant la tole suivante qui prend la position repere 5 .On ramene alors 1 'extremite de la tole repere 3 sur la tole suivante repere 6 ce qui permet de les assembler et l'operation se poursuit
En arrivant sur l'entoile les ondes viennent reposer sur 1 'extremite des branches comme represente au repere 7 puis elle viennent reposer sur les murs ou poutres porteuses designes par le repere 8
Le procede est evidemment applicable aux elements prefabriques en usine Il suffira de les assembler par une liaison souple pour leur permettre de prendre les differentes positions de levage
De meme il est possible de fabriquer de la meme maniere des ondes a double toles enfermant un isolant

The process is obviously applicable to the elements prefabricated in the factory. It will be enough to assemble them by a flexible connection to allow them to take the different lifting positions.
In the same way it is possible to manufacture in the same way waves with double sheets enclosing an insulator
