Abstract

The heated ceiling radiating at low temperatures comprises a framework (5) supporting both heating and non-heating panels. The heating panels are made up of a resistance element (2) sandwiched between a layer (3) of mineral insulation and a facing layer (1) of e.g. plaster. The facing layer has tapered longitudinal edges which allow the joints to be covered by calico strip (14). The ends of the facing layer are distorted slightly by the screws (4) on tightening allowing the end joints also to be covered by calico strip. The surfaces of the panels are finished by a thin outer film.

Description

The present invention relates to the production of radiant heating ceilings at low temperature, using industrialized composite panels with variable nodules and the technique of installing these screened elements on a special framework allowing individual installation and special treatment of the surface finish, to obtain a traditional smooth-looking ceiling.

The technique of radiant heating ceilings at low temperature is currently carried out on building sites by a series of successive manual operations s installation of a wooden or metallic load-bearing framework, an insulating mattress of mineral fiber placed on this framework, installation by stapling or gluing the heating film to the wooden or metallic support and laying by screwing a plasterboard with cardboard facings, receiving a conventional treatment of the connection joints 0 The plasterboard being arranged in a direction perpendicular to the support frame. The manual installation of these various constituent elements involves risks of imperfection when using the insulating mat which plays an important role, namely: blocking the heat emitted by the film and concentrating it in the plaster plate c 'cardboard facings, to bring it to shine. Air pockets, inevitable in the case of manual installation, between the heating film and the plasterboard lead to a loss of efficiency of the heating ceiling.

Small composite panels (0.60 X 1.20 m) exist for use on an exposed or concealed load-bearing framework and compost adaptation constraints.

The realization of a general frame with load-bearing profiles cannot be envisaged taking into account the distribution of living rooms and these small modules lead to the creation of room-by-room ceilings. In addition, they require a large number of electrical connections
The present invention makes it possible to produce heated ceilings by using industrialized composite panels comprising: (board 1 fig a plasterboard with cardboard facings (l) of 0.60 m in width and variable lengths from 0.60 m to 3.00 m. (board 1 fig. 2) a passepartout module (16) being provided for difficult cases such as clearances, WC,
This module can descend to a dimension of 0.60 m and adapts on all sides; a heating fiki (2) composed of a resistance of lead and tin alloy arranged in ribbons between four sheets of pla3tiquet a mineral fiber mattress or of other nature, of thickness and density variable in fol technical requirements, thermal and micsnic. The plasterboards with cardboard facing have thinned longitudinal edges (plate 2 fig. 3) to allow the joints to be treated using a calico strip (14); on the other hand, the edges at the ends of the plates do not have any thinned out (plate 2 fig. 4). To remedy this drawback, the composite panels have on the back, on the longitudinal edges, strip or resin cardboard strips of thicknesses (4). these strips are continuous and stopped at about 12 cm from the ends of the plasterboard (plate 2 fig.4) When the plasterboard is screwed on, it is deformed to create an artificial thinning allowing the concealment of the joints in end of plates.

Heating floors are made up of heating panels and so-called neutral non-heating panels. In this case, the heating film is replaced by an aluiiiuî or P.V.C.

The special metal framework (plate 3) includes various elements in galvanized steel to allow individual installation of the panels. The bearing profile (5) is specially designed to fulfill three functions s crossing large spans, allowing good fire stability thanks to a connecting splice (6) leaving a great possibility of expansion, and above all a deformable profile which can, at using installation material (11 and 12) (plate 4 & 5) pretend to use individual composite panels. To do this, the installer houses a thin blade provided with lugs in the middle slot of the profile which by pinching and by a stop rib retains the width. A resting chomplat keeps the plate in good bend which allows the fitter to carry out the adjustment of positioning of the panel by eliminating the risks of deviation which would lead to the perforation of the heating film at the time of screwing. The composite panel being maintained on place, the installer can easily engage the mineral fiber on the wings of the profiles (5) and braced (7) make the electrical connection to the octopus or to the supply cabal connecting the heating film to the thermostat. The screwing of the plate is done after checking the electrical connection which prevents dismantling in the event of an anomaly in the electrical connection.

The spacers (7) arranged at the end of the composite panels, serve to ensure a rigorous spacing of the profiles (5) and to screw over the entire width, the ends of the panels creating the artificial thinned.

The bearing profiles are suspended either by hangers (10) or ca valu rus clip ambles (9) with threaded rod.

Another use can be made of the profile (5) (plate 5 fig. 8) in the event of non-treatment of the joint, it will be possible to accommodate in the median slot of the profile a joint cover of variable shape and composition, but always based on the principle of pinching and the rib-stop, maintaining the cover profile is placed.

(-Voir exemple de calepinaqe (planche I figure 2 )
According to the thermal distribution study carried out, an established layout: the number and dimensions of the heating elements according to the surface of the premises and the layout of the partitions. None of the heating panels should be placed astride a partition. A neutral band of 20 cm. must be provided on the periphery of the premises, as well as a neutral panel is available in the center of the rooms to safely allow the suspension of chandelier or other. (-See example of calepinaqe (plate I figure 2)
On site, the first operation consists in drawing a line along the entire periphery of the room to be equipped. Then tracing the pension points of the bearing profiles (5) depending on the layout plans, taking into account an axis of 0.60 m . Installation of the metal frame made up of load-bearing profiles (5) and spacers (7) via a different type of hanger. This framework forms a toagular mesh grid and will receive the composite heating or neutral panels by self-drilling vage on the four banks, the panels were held in place before screwing by the accessories (11) and (12) to allow the control put in place and electrical connection.

The ceilings, in order to obtain a smooth and traditional appearance, will receive @ finishing applications a joint treatment phase with special coating and calico strip (14), a raking phase (15) plot on any surface with a film coating.

The manufacturing of the heating panels will be carried out in the factory on a chain in four stations, either: setting to the length of the panel, gluing cardboard plate, laying of the heating film, cardboard strips (of sheet or resin) of thickness 3. on the two longitudinal edges and stopped 12 c. around the ends, these tabs make it possible to create thinned b for the treatment of joints without excess thickness on the plate end caps.

Gluing of heating film, installation of insulation panel of variable thickness and density. This will not be glued to the edges to allow installation to accommodate the wings of the profiles (5) and spacers (7). Heating element control.

The manufacturing of the neutral panel does not include a heating film, it will be used, a cardboard facing plate with vapor barrier, these composite panels are also modular.

The packaging of the complexes will be carried out on pallets, strapping, all covered with a partial or total plastic cover.
