Abstract

The manually operated appliance folds paper or plans in the accordion style, using fixed blades with a slidable folding guide. An ejection system is incorporated together with a stop by which the slide is located. Alternatively, the casing upon which the blades are mounted may be movable whilst the mechanism is fixed. A handle bar may be used to slide a folding table back and forth relative to the folding blades, a grip-frame actuated by ramps on rollers serving to secure alternate sets of superimposed folded edges.
