Abstract

The security fence includes a plastics-coated metal wire incorporating a conductor connected to an alarm circuit. This conductor is obtained by a direct surface treatment of the outer plastics coating before further plastification or coating with an insulating material. The conductor is pref. applied to the surface of the plastics coating by metallisation. Pref. the fence uses a wire mesh which is selectively metallised to provide a series of conductor circuits which are subsequently insulated by plastification or an applied insulator. The mesh is then strung between vertical posts which support dynamometer detection elements with two symmetrical bars controlling a clamp within the post which cooperates with the conductor circuits to trigger the alarm.
