Abstract

The alarm includes a number of detectors (1) sensitive to a potential intrusion connected to a central unit (5). This in turn is connected to a playing-only cassette player (7) deriving power either from batteries (6) or the mains The cassette player may be turned on either manually (3), or automatically (4). When an intrusion is detected, the cassette player is operated, reproducing the noise of an aggressive animal. Description

 The subject of the present invention is the production of a deterrent audible burglar alarm device diffusing the cries of animals prerecorded on magnetic tape (particularly the aggressive barking of a watchdog).

 This invention aims to protect places, inhabited or not.

 To date, all the audible alarm systems used indicate a break-in in progress by a siren noise or a recorded call.

 CLAIM I: Audible burglar alarm deterrent device characterized in that it comprises  - A read-only tape recorder (2) provided with a previously recorded magnetic tape cassette (7).  - One or more detectors (1)  - A control unit (5) receiving the signals emitted by the detectors (1)  - A Power Supply (6) - Batteries or Mains - distributing the tape recorder (2) and the Central (5)  - A manual control (3) and / or an automatic control (4) triggering the tape recorder (2).  CLAIM 2: Application of the device according to claim I, characterized in that the pre-recorded audible alarm is triggered prior to any break-in by simulating the presence of an aggressive animal with the aim of deterring an intruder by fear.
