Abstract

The saddle for a bicycle has a plastics shell (1) covered on the base by a flexible film with a protective outer covering. It has a metallic frame (4) engaging with the support strut for the saddle. The base (1a) of the shell has recesses (1b-1c) extending transversely at the front and rear, to cooperate with the frame for accurate positioning of the shell. The frame has a single sheet formed into two longitudinal branches.
