Abstract

The spectacle mounting has a one piece, continuous, frame (1). This is shaped to match facial features and also matches the shape of the lenses (6) on each side. The centre parts of the frame are drawn together to form the bridge. There is a connector (4) for the opposite sides of the bridge which is adjustable and can move the bridge parts together or apart to hold or release the lenses. A threaded rod is fixed to one part of the frame and on this is a nut, working against a stop.
