Abstract

The support pad has a central 'H' section body (1) with the rollers (3) housed in the upper and lower channels (2a,b) respectively. The depth of the channel (2a) is less than the roller bearing diameter, whilst that of the channel (2b) is larger. The depth of the bottom rebate (5b) is greater than that of the top rebate (5a). Thus when the rollers are in the top channel (2a) they project above the body (1) and are in contact with each other whilst in the lower track (2b) they do not project and are slightly spaced apart.
