Abstract

The luggage rack (7,16) has two metal frames placed one on each side of a bicycle wheel and to which are suspended the saddle bags. An elongated U-shaped piece (14,20) is common to the frames on either side of a wheel and it acts as the bottom connecting rod for the mudguard (12,21) and a main brace on which the bottom zone of the frame is supported. The top of the front carrier is fixed to a flange (8) on the wheel fork (2) while the rear carrier top is fixed to connecting rods (18) that support luggage rack (4). The flange on the wheel fork is connected to the top of the mudguard by an inclined stay (10).

L'invention a pour objet un porte-bagages pour cycle, notamment pour cycle de tourisme. The subject of the invention is a luggage rack for a cycle, in particular for a passenger cycle.

Sur les cycles utilisés pour le tourisme et plus particulièrement pour le cyclo-camping, il est connu de prévoir non seulement un porte-bagages placé au-dessus du garde-boue arrière et un porte-bagages placé au-dessus de la roue avant, mais aussi des porte-bagages placés latéralement de part et d'autre des deux roues avant et arrière et auxquels sont suspendues des sacoches.
