Abstract

The rigid parallelepiped pieces (1) can be joined together in various ways to form playing surfaces for different games. Each piece has a semi-ellipsoidal hole (2) in the centre of one surface. On one side there is a slot (4) in which a joining dovetailed piece fits. On another side there is a hole through which a pin fits. The pieces are joined together with end elements which can hold counters and can have the rules of the game on their surfaces. The back of the pieces can have the parts of a jigsaw puzzle printed on them.

Description

 The object of the invention relates to a device for playing elements with multiple functions.

 It is intended to allow, starting from standardized elements which can be juxtaposed or even superimposable and assemblable, to create varied play surfaces, whether recreational, didactic or rehabilitative.

 There are multiple devices comprising receptacles for tokens or balls, but none have interchangeable or mobile elements giving the possibility of performing different attractions.

 The device according to the invention consists of juxtaposed elements provided with ball or token receiving halves, the lower facing of which constitutes a different clearance while each separate unit forms a building clearance.

 it is constituted by a rigid mass of square or parallelepiped section having on its upper facing a semi ellipsotal cavity and on its vertical longitudinal and transverse facing of the assembly profiles, each of the faces being able to include graphics producing various playing surfaces.

 The element fig 1, is constituted by a rigid piece, parallelepiped 1 having at its middle part a semi-ellipsoidal deep cavity 2, 2 '.

 It has on one of its vertical faces 3, an assembly profile in half dovetail 4 and a perpendicular orifice 5, the entire transverse.

 These elements are assembled two by two 6, 6 ', fig 3.

 A series of elements 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 are juxtaposed, which are keyed longitudinally by the strip 13 and transversely by the bars 14, 15. They thus form playing surfaces with four or eight cells. We can also get all multiples of four elements.

 These elements fig 5, constitute a game with balls of different colors which can be moved according to determined rules.

 End elements 12, 12 'and 7, 7' have a surface 12 on which can be inscribed a rule of play and a larger cell for the storage of the balls or tokens.

 On the other hand, the opposite face 16 of the game forms a puzzle, the reconstructed images of which make it possible to have the game assembled in its functional position on the front surface.

 Part of these elements can also receive checkerboard or checkers.

 The lateral faces 17 to 22 receive attractive didactic or advertising decorative patterns which by their juxtaposition or superposition form sets, such as construction sets.

 Each separate alveolus makes it possible to execute a different game, such as a chip game, or with a rigid pawn, an external pawn is projected into the alveolus.

 This game can be distributed in modules, as a bonus or as a purchase and can carry the distributor's advertising on one of these sides.

 Multiple sequences can allow games for two, four and even eight participants.

 This is why the shapes, dimensions and arrangements of the different elements may vary within the limit of the equivalents, like the materials used for their manufacture, without changing the general conception of the invention which has just been described.

Claims (4)

CLAIMS 10 Multifunctional game element device intended to allow, starting from a standardized unit which can be juxtaposed and even superimposed, to produce various playing surfaces, whether recreational, didactic, reeducational or advertising, characterized by a rigid parallelepiped piece (i ) comprising at its middle part a semi-ellipsotdal honeycomb (2) and provided on one of its faces with an assembly profile (4) on the other perpendicular face of a peg hole (5).  20 Device according to Claim 1, characterized in that the assembly profile (4) receives a dovetail strip (13) and the orifice (5) a key (14).  30 Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the assembly of the combined cell elements (7 to 12) form a series of four indefinitely equidistant cells which can be juxtaposed with end elements (12, 12 'and 7, 7' ) provided with storage receptacles and surfaces bearing game rules.  40 Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the back (16) of the elements (17 to 22) carry parts of figures constituting puzzle elements.  50 Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the side faces (17) or back (16) opposite the honeycomb carry patterns of playing surfaces such as checkerboard.
