Abstract

The double axle railway vehicle bogie has a chassis with a pivot for two curved arms supporting the wheel axles. The arms have, at a point between their ends, attachments for the ends of a suspension leaf spring (23). The spring is fixed at its centre (24) by a bolt to the chassis. The spring leaves slide in guides fixed to the axle arms. The guides can be shaped and have a guide groove (25.1) for the ends of the leaf spring.
