La présente invention se rapporte a une lingotière réglable pour machine de coulée continue, en particulier à une lingotière régla ble en marche et permettant donc de couler des brames plus ou moins larges, mais d'épaisseur constante, par simple réglage de la lingo tiède en cours de coulée. Par ailleurs, des dispositifs de serrage 6, comportant généralement des vérins hydrauliques et des ressorts, viennent serrer les grands côtés 1 contre les petits cotés 2 de manière a vaincre la pression ferrostatique due à l'acier liquide 9.
