Abstract

A cyclists' trouser garment offers effective rainproof protection to parts of the body which may normally be exposed to wet weather, and provides normal aeration to other body surfaces. The front and back of the garment have separate impermeable strips standing apart from the rest of the garment, to cover a small area liable to splashing e.g. from the wheels. The legs of the trousers in front are completely covered with waterproofing, but have covered slits or slashes for flexibility and aeration. The backs of the legs and the rest of the body area are of untreated fabric.

Description

 The object of the invention relates to functional training pants for cyclists.

 It is intended to allow training in all weathers and more particularly in rainy weather with hygienic sectioned protection.

 There are waterproof pants to protect cyclists, but these garments are not permeable, neither to air, nor to water and cause an exaggerated sweating which in the long run annoys the user, and which can cause cooling or other pathological discomfort.

 The device according to the invention eliminates these drawbacks and allows both effective protection of the parts of the body exposed to the weather and normal ventilation of other surfaces.

 It is constituted by a sector coating of the anterior surfaces combined with an axial, reduced back covering retaining maximum overall ventilation.

Figure 1 shows the front of the pants seen in elevation.

 Figure 2 shows in the me my conditions the back side of the garment.

 The front side of the pants, entirely made of fabric, starting from the crotch 1, at size 2, an attached waterproof band releasing the abdominal and lateral sectors 3 and 4.

 The legs 6, 7 are entirely covered with impermeable surfaces 8, 9, 10, 11, but with cuts 12, 13 and covering. This continuity solution facilitates articulation given the non-elasticity of impermeable surfaces made of synthetic resin or the like; we also create a ventilation area for this waterproof "facade".

 The rear face 14 is provided with a sector 15 corresponding to the rain flows and to the projections of the axial wheel releasing the dorsal surfaces 16, 17 while the legs 18, 19 are made of fabric.

Thus, the user is in contact on all surfaces covered with a fabric permeable to air ensuring general well-being.

 Only the surfaces receiving rain and splashing water are effectively protected, so that the ventilation Duisse continue to attenuate sweat emissions and eliminate them.

 It is therefore indeed by the sectoral positioning of the waterproof surfaces on a garment made entirely of woven fabric, that the invention is characterized.

 However, the shapes, dimensions and arrangements of the various elements may vary within the limit of the equivalents, as moreover the materials used for their manufacture without changing for this the general design of the invention which has just been described.
