Abstract

The accessory for an artist using oil paints consists of a board from which the tubes of paint can be suspended. The board can be circular with a set of keyhole shaped slots projecting inwards radially, all round the edge. A dished holder which screws onto the threaded neck of the tube can then be supported protruding through the circular part of each slot. The circular board can be suspended by a vertical spindle at the centre, from a horizontal arm with a clamp at its outer end for attachment to e.g. an easel. Alternatively, the spindle can be mounted on a wide base for standing on a flat surface. Also a rectangular board can be clamped to the edge of a table.
