Abstract

The quick-action device secures a line to a fishing rod, and comprises an elongate component (1) secured to the rod top end. An eye (3) with an opening (4) allows the passage of a loop formed at the end of the line. An annular component (2) slides along the oblong one, and can be locked at the level of the opening, so as to prevent the loop coming out after insertion. The eye can be formed at one end of the oblong component, whose other end has a cavity (5) extending inside it in the axial direction and for an appreciable part of its length.
