Abstract

A lock for vehicle doors comprises two movable jaws which are attached to the door and which can close counter to a spring effect around a pin projecting from the vehicle body and are held in the closing position by a catch. The two jaws are connected operatively to one another by means of a tooth which projects from one jaw and which engages slidably into a recess of an arm projecting from the other jaw.
