Abstract

The vehicle steering wheel frame has at least one arm (2,3) fixed to a hub (1) forming the end of the steering column. It has a tubular rim (6,7) fixed to the arm by ferrules (4,5). Both ends of these penetrate inside the rim. The arms are also tubular and their central ends (8,9) are engaged and fixed in the hub. The ferrule has a T piece (15) entering and fixed to the end of the arm. The fixings of the tubular parts of the arm and rim on the ferrule are formed by magnetic pressing.
