Abstract

La présente invention concerne un nouveau volant de direction de véhicule à structure composite. Ce volant est essentiellement constitué par une jante tubulaire en aluminium 1 définissant deux extrémités 2 dans lesquelles sont respectivement emmanchées les extrémités 3 de deux branches en acier, l'assemblage des branches 4 et de la jante 1 étant réalisé par une opération de cintrage simultané, jusqu'à l'obtention d'un angle sensiblement droit, des extrémités 2, 3 mutuellement emboîtées de chaque branche 4 et de la jante 1, lequel cintrage s'accompagne d'une opération concomitante de sertissage. Le volant de l'invention s'applique à tous types de véhicules routiers.The present invention relates to a novel vehicle steering wheel having a composite structure. The steering wheel of the invention applies to all types of road vehicles.
