MOTOR VEHICLE PROJECTOR

  The present invention relates to a headlamp, in particular for a motor vehicle, of the so-called fog type, equipped with a halogen lamp with a single filament, maintained and positioned in the reflector of the headlamp by a support element made integral with said reflector, and whose light rays emitted directly towards the lens of the projector are stopped by a screen arranged between said

ice and lamp.

  The lamps fitted to such projectors generally have electrodes of sufficient thickness, or spiraled in such a way as to avoid their heating, as well as a possible emission of parasitic light rays, or in other halogen lamps, such as lamps. W3, the electrodes are the same diameter as the filament wire and are straight, therefore their heating is such

  that they sometimes emit stray rays.

  The present invention aims to remedy this drawback and for this purpose relates to a projector as defined above and characterized in that a second screen is arranged between the reflector and the lamp so that it eliminates the rays parasites created by the heating of the filament electrodes and likely to be

reflected by the reflector.

  The description which follows with reference to the appended drawings will make

  better understand how the invention can be realized.

  According to Figure 1 the projector 1 consists essentially of a reflector 2, a lens 3 whose drawings and reliefs give an illumination beam for foggy weather, a lamp 4, of the H3 type, whose filament 4a is substantially located at the front of the

  Such a screen 7 is obtained from a cut metal blank

according to figure 2.

  This cut blank has a rectangular base portion 14, extending the length of which is an ear 10

  delimited by two edges 10a and a portion of curve 1ob.

  Each of the lengths of the part 14 comprises an extension consisting of a wing 11, of a tab 12 which itself comprises a

  small tab 13 disposed opposite the ear 10.

  Such a cut blank is then folded; the ear 10 is raised by folding along the broken line bb, the two wings (11,12) are raised by folding along the broken lines (aa) and (cc), the ends of the legs 12 are then folded back along the broken lines (dd) until their free ends 12a are as close as possible to each other. In our example these two ends 12a come into contact but a slight

  spacing can be kept if deemed necessary or sufficient

Claims (4)

  1) Headlamp, in particular for a motor vehicle, of the so-called type   fog lamp, fitted with a single-wire halogen lamp (4)   maintained and positioned in the reflector (2) of the projector   tor by a support element (5) made integral with said reflector, and whose light rays emitted directly towards the lens (3) of the projector are stopped by a screen (8) disposed between said lens and the lamp, projector characterized in that a second screen (9) is arranged between the reflector (2) and the lamp (4) in such a way that it eliminates the stray rays created by the heating   electrodes (4b) -from the filament (4a) and capable of being reflected- chis by the reflector.   2) Projector according to claim 1 characterized in that the second screen (9) is obtained in one piece with the 8th screen   3) Projector according to claims 1 and 2 characterized   in that the screen 7, consisting of screens (8 and 9) is formed from a metal blank cut in such a way that after folding operations said screen (7) is obtained in its final form and comprises means for fixing it to the element support 5.   4) projector according to claim 3 characterized in that the noyenZde fixing the screen (7) on the support element 5 are   consisting of two tabs which pass through orifices of said support   port 5 then are folded until they are in contact with said support port 5.
