Abstract

The pipe clip (11) has a hook (12) at one end which engages with a fold (3) at the other end during the tightening process. The clip has an inbuilt circumferential elasticity due to the formation of zig-zag profiles on diametrically opposite sides of the band. The geometry of the zig-zags (16) endows the clip with a predetermined degree of elasticity whilst presenting a smooth surface to the tube. In this way the pressure on the tube is constant around the circumference.
