Abstract

The distributor machine is partic. for seed and fertiliser, having a hopper with an inspection window in a lengthwise wall covered by a transducer plate. There are a large number of apertures (10) in one of the hopper walls (10), at intervals over its entire area, and inside the hopper (1) is a light source (5). The plate can be of different colours at different rows, and the light source can be situated in the top part of the hopper. The design shows the contents level everywhere in the hopper, even in poor light or when the plate is dirty.(DS).
