Abstract

Different coloured markings are added to sheet music to indicate e.g. the relation between adjacent notes. The white marks (5) are blank to receive marks made as notes of various types and additional to other coloured markings. The blanks can be of other colours to render them more visible, particularly if the music is printed on coloured paper.

Description

 The purpose of this addition is to provide clarification to the invention according to the main patent, which relates to a method indicating coding, which is significant. visually, from the secret phenomenology of the properties of associative notes between them non-apparent properties, in a musical text, whose good instrumental expression is sought, as well as a device which adapts to this process.

 In pursuing, and in order to complete, the invention, the Applicant wishes to specify, in accordance with this addition, the following solution, set out below.

This solution leads to a more precise study of the musical text, the visual presentation of which makes the only logical and satisfactory pennant decisive for engraving and printing, with a view to simplifying and perfecting the presentation of musical scores. .

 The purpose of this addition is to print only the essentials of the writing of the notes, by ventilating the latter, in such a way that the unnecessary fractions or fragments of staves which interfere with reading are no longer apparent. Indeed,. they obstruct the vision of characters, prevent the appreciation of combinations of complex sets of notes and also hinder the appearance of signs or accidents which constitute musical writing.

 It should be considered that the music, made of notes printed in black, which appear under the aspect of ensembles, groups, or isolated elements notes, is also made of spaces between the said notes. These spaces between the notes are diverse.

According to the first characteristic of the invention, i mean the presence of spaces between the notes, in the necessary places defined below, by blanks, constituting fragments freed from the initial traces of staff lines which have always existed without reason, a once the composition is completed.

The points attributing an increase in value by half to the notes can, whatever they are, appear, as it should be, opposite the said note, and this, at its same level, which was not achieved to date , in the case of notes written in full on the staff lines.

According to a possible development of the characteristics targeting the white areas described above, said areas can be made visual by the use of other colors judged to be more or less striking, at the locations specified above, and likely to be better suited to the printing of music on papers of all colors.

According to the same characteristic tending to purify and simplify the writing and the musical reading, the Applicant foresees that it is advisable not to let appear any more the bars of the measures, which remain definitively and unnecessarily at the printing, then which are only separations of control and verification in the conduct of the composition.

Other characteristics and advantages of the invention will be better understood on reading the detailed description which follows, of an exemplary embodiment, given by way of indication, but in no way limiting, with reference to the appended drawing, in which:

 Referring to said figure, one can see the sets of notes which correspond to those of FIG. 2A of the main patent, namely the successive sets J, K, L and M. The red lines have also been reported in the figure 1 and the green lines 2 which also correspond to the lines of said FIG. 2A of the main patent. In accordance with this addition, the printing of the blanks or white areas defined above is indicated in the places defined above, by the numerical marks 5. We can immediately see that the said blanks 5 appear consecutively or behind any note with a long value , marked by a green vertical line 2, conventionally indicated by a horizontally hatched graphic, in black and white, and that said white 5 pretend lengthwise, until the immediately following note, that the latter is a long one, marked by a green vertical line (hatched) 2 or a brief one, marked, as in the main patent, by a red vertical line 1, following a dotted graphics, conventionally in black and white.

As mentioned above, it should be understood that the dimensions and the colors used in said FIG. 1 are purely conventional, and that they should be produced, in practice, according to the characteristics of the invention defined above.

 It can also be seen in said FIG. 1, which has been removed on printing, the measuring bar, which remained, between the assemblies J and K, in FIG. 2A of the main patent.

 It is understood that the invention can be implemented according to any modification and variant deemed useful, without going beyond the scope and the spirit of said invention.

Claims (7)

 1. Method according to the main patent, indicating the coded, visually meaningful, of the secret phenomenology of the properties of association of notes between them, properties not apparent, in a musical text, of which one seeks the right instrumental expression, this process being characterized by the fact that the presence of spaces between the notes, in the necessary places defined below, is indicated by blanks, constituting fragments freed from the initial traces of staff lines which have always existed without reason, once the composition completed, said blanks being produced at the time of engraving for the printing of the musical score, so that these blanks extend into a surface of four sides, which is delimited, on the one hand, on its left side, over the entire height of the staff, by the rod, whatever its altitude position on said staff, of the note, and whatever its value, individually or as part of a n group or set whatever it is, which note preceding the blank, always has the value of long, as signified, according to the main patent, by a vertical green line, this white surface being delimited, on the other hand, on its right side, by the stem of the next note of the group to which the aforementioned notes belong, said next note can be another long or a brief, as signified by a red vertical line, and defined according to the main patent.  2. Method according to claim 1, characterized in that the said white surfaces have for extension, from left to right on their sides, a distance separating them, the length of which, and this in order to standardize the printing of the notes, is in direct relation to the duration of the value of the long note, signified by a green vertical line according to the main patent, which adjoins and precedes the white, as described above.  3. Method according to claim 2, characterized in that it provides a length of blank, as described above, for a value note duration x, space-time, of X millimeters; for a value duration of note y, space-time, of Y millimeters; for a duration value of. note z, space-time, of 2 millimeters; and so on, said lengths X, Y, Z, etc., being normalized, corresponding to the two durations values of the respective notes.  4. Method according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the said blanks constitute blank areas, which are more conducive to receiving the signs or accidents assigned to the notes, the points attributing an increase in value by half to the notes being able to , whatever these, appear, as it is, facing the corresponding note, and this, at its same level, without being bothered by the presence of a staff line in its location.  5. Method according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the areas defining "whites" can be made visual by the use of colors other than white itself, colors judged more or less striking. , in the places specified above, and which may be more suitable for printing the music on papers of any desired color.  6. Method according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that, in order to respect the purification and the simplification of musical writing and reading, the bar lines are no longer allowed to appear on the printed score left on the part tion as written by the composer.  7.
