Abstract

The life of cut flowers is extended by placing them in a soln. contg. 1 g. alum and 1 g. sugar in 1 l. of water. The same soln. may be used to spray flowering plants. The same claim also covers a skin cream contg. 100 g. nacre, 100 g. lemon juice and 2 g. alum. This is useful for preventing wrinkles and blackheads.

FLETRISSEMENT DU TISSUS VEGETAL :
En ce qui concerne les fleurs coupées, la conservation est toujours le grand souci des fleuristes qui voient leurs roses ou autres se flétrir et finir rapidement à la poubelle.PLANT TISSUE SHRINKLING:

3) de prolonger la vie des plantes fleuries
FORMULATION I z exemple de conservation de 20 roses
Prendre des roses très fraîchement récoltées. Les couper en biseau, les faire boire une heure. Ensuite, prendre Igramme d'ALUN et I gramme de sucre pour un litre d'eau. Verser le tout dans un vase et plonger les roses dedans. Ne jamais changer l'eau seulement en ajouter.My process, with this formulation, allows:
