Abstract

Door or window shutters (1a,1b) include at least one panel having a solar radiation absorbing surface under which a heat-transfer liquid is circulated. The inlet and outlet pipes (3) are made up of jointed or flexible tubes which allow the liquid to pass through e.g. a domestic heat-exchanger before being recirculated. The back of the panel is pref. protected by an insulating material.

Description

The invention relates to devices for collecting solar energy for domestic use.

Generally, the panels intended to store the calories diffused under the impact of solar radiation to heat a fluid called "coolant", are arranged around - or on the homes to be heated. The presence of these panels most often harms the overall aesthetics of the dwellings with which they are associated, which, of course, constitutes a non-negligible obstacle to the generalization of the use of solar energy in the field of habitat. In addition, the cost of the installations using these panels is often high, in particular because of the long lengths of the heat transfer fluid supply conduits and the heat insulation necessary to protect these conduits.

The present invention proposes a solution to remedy the aforementioned drawbacks by integrating solar energy collection panels into the architecture of individual houses or collective dwellings and by using existing building elements.

The applicant therefore had the idea of using certain construction elements and more particularly the shutters, as insulating panels without altering their general configuration or their initial use.

Also, in accordance with the invention, the shutters of the window and / or door openings of a dwelling are remarkable in that they comprise or constitute the support of at least one panel formed essentially by an absorbent surface of the solar radiation and under which circulates a heat transfer fluid intended to store and carry the calories absorbed by said exposed surface, preferably when the shutters are in the open position.

In order not to obstruct the development of the panels, the inlet and outlet pipes of the heat transfer fluid are formed wholly or in part by flexible or articulated pipes.

Advantageously, the back of the panels is protected by a thickness of insulating material ensuring
- during the day, when the flaps are in the open position, thermal insulation of the heat transfer fluid,
- and at night, when the shutters are in the closed position, a thermal barrier to heat loss accumulated during the day in the premises of the dwelling.

The invention just mentioned. above, will be better understood on reading the description which follows, giving, by way of nonlimiting example and, with reference to the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of a window fitted with shutters in accordance with the invention .

The figure carried by this drawing is a perspective view of such a window.

The shutters referenced la and lb of this window 2 consist of two insulating panels intended to collect, when in the open position, as illustrated, the calories diffused into the atmosphere and radiated on the absorbent surface of the panels.

Flexible pipes 3 make it possible to interconnect the heat transfer fluid circulating under the absorbent surface of the panels 1a and 1b to store the calories received and carry them to an exchanger device for domestic use.

The flexibility of these pipes 3 allows the articulation of the panels 1a and 1b on the edges of the two tables of the window 2, thus retaining the primary use of the shutters 1.

Note for all intents and purposes that this primary use of the shutters 1 is improved, in particular as regards the insulation of the part equipped with these insulating panels, since the backs of the latter are protected by a thickness of insulating material, thus creating when the shutters are in the closed position a thermal barrier to the penetration of cold into the room and heat loss to the outside.

It is obvious that many modifications and variants of the invention can be carried out based on the above teachings. So it is possible to achieve the same results with roller shutters. It is therefore clearly understood that, without departing from the scope of the appended claims, the invention can be implemented in a manner different from that more particularly described and shown above.
