Abstract

A pouch for holding fishing tackle, specifically hooks, flies, spinners etc., is made of flexible material as two trays joined by a sliding clasp fastener and lined and stiffened with a panel of cellular material soft enough to accept embedded hooks. Pref. pouches are lined with pieces of expanded polyethylene or PVC, held in place by adhesives or welding. Prod. is more comfortable, lighter and quieter to carry than a conventional tin or box, and holds the hooks against becoming entangled.

Description

The present invention relates to a kit for storing and transporting fishing lures, such as spoons, must, swimming fish, flies, etc.

To store and transport such lures, both during fishing and outside of fishing sessions, boots boots are already known. Such boots are either metallic or made of totally or relatively rigid plastics. They all have the disadvantage of being able to contain only a limited number of lures of limited dimensions and, when there are several lures per trap, the hooks thereof become tangled so that it is difficult to take out a desired lure from the box, without taking out several, which fall out of the box and are possibly lost, especially when fishing in water. In addition, their rigidity makes them uncomfortable to carry in a pocket and, when the fisherman moves, they are noisy, the rattles clicking against their wall. Finally, when they are made of rigid plastic, they break as soon as they hit a hard obstacle through the fisherman's pocket.

The object of the present invention is to remedy these drawbacks.

To this end, according to the invention, the kit for fishing lures comprising two hulls capable of being joined by a slider closure, is remarkable in that said hulls are made of a flexible material and in that the bottom of at least one of said shells is relatively stiffened by a thick plate of foam which is both flexible and rigid and which also serves to hook hooks to lures.

Thus, thanks to its flexibility, the kit according to the invention is capable of adapting well to the shape of the body of the fisherman and can therefore be carried in a pocket, even a back pocket of pants, without the fisherman feeling uncomfortable. It is unbreakable and stifles the clicking noises of the lures.

In addition, not having compartments partitions, it can contain a large number of lures, which can be large (for example up to 17 cm). No risk of entanglement exists, since the hooks of the lures are stitched in the foam plate (s).

Preferably, the bottom of each of the shells is provided with a foam plate. This can be a polyethylene foam, polyvinyl chloride, etc ... which does not oxidize the hooks.

The shells are advantageously made of a flexible synthetic material, of the consistency of oilcloth, heat-weldable and produced in parts assembled together, as well as at the slider closure, by welding. Under these conditions, the wafer (s) can be made integral with the corresponding shell bottom also by welding. However, in order to be able to be changed in the event of deterioration, it is advantageous for the foam pads to be fixed paradhesively on said shell bottoms.

It will be noted that such foam plates not only serve for hooking the hooks of the lures, but also protect these lures against certain deteriorations due to possible crushing of the kit, said lures then becoming encrusted in said plates.

Preferably, said shells are secured to each other by a common part of their edges (the rest of these being capable of being joined by the slider closure) and a hinged partition wall is provided between the two hulls, attached to said common edge portion.

Advantageously, this swinging partition wall forms a pocket, for example to accommodate branchlines, hooks, swivels, etc.

The single figure of the appended drawing will make it clear how the invention can be implemented.

This single figure shows in perspective a lure kit according to the invention, in the open position.

This lure kit comprises two shells 1 and 2 made of a flexible plastic material, each hull being produced by assembling by welding a bottom and a peripheral rim.

On the rear side of the kit, the edges of the two shells are secured to each other by a common part 4, while on the rest of their periphery, said edges are secured to the corresponding parts 3a- and 3b of a slider closure, allowing to assemble said shells to each other to close the kit. Parts 3a and 3b of the slide fastener are joined to the corresponding shell by weld lines 5 and 6, respectively.

 On the underside of the bottom of each shell 1 and 2, a plate 7 or 8, respectively, of a polyethylene or polyvinyl chloride foam is stuck, forming cushions in which the hooks of the lures can be hung and susceptible to protect these.

A pocket 9, shown in phantom, is secured by its rear edge of the part 4 common to the two shells and also serves as a swing separation between the two shells.

1.- Kit for lures comprising two shells capable of being joined by a slider closure, characterized in that said shells are made of a flexible material and in that the bottom of at least one of said shells is relatively stiffened by a thick foam pad that is both flexible and rigid, also serving to hook lure hooks. 2.- lure pouch according to claim 1, characterized in that the bottom of each of the shells is provided with a foam plate. 3.- Lure pouch according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the plates are made of polyethylene foam, polyvinyl chloride or the like. 4.- lure pouch according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the shells are made of a flexible synthetic material, of the consistency of waxed canvas, heat-weldable and produced in pieces assembled together, as well as at the slider closure, by welding 5.- Lure pouch according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the foam plates are fixed by adhesive on said hull bottoms.  6.- Lure pouch according to any of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that said shells are integral with one another by a common part of their edges and in that a wall of hinged separation between the two shells, attached to said common edge portion. 7 .-- Lure pocket according to. claim 6, characterized in that this swinging partition wall forms a pocket, for example to accommodate branchlines, hooks, swivels, etc.
