Abstract

The arrangement is intended for the forwardly tippable driver cab of a motor vehicle having a hinged front panel. The cab carries a pin which is slidable in a slot of a pivoted lever so that this lever swivels as the cab is tipped forward. A link connects the lever to a swivel arm which is pivoted to the bumper bar or to the vehicle chassis and connects to the front panel. The arrangement is such that the panel swings open as the cab is tipped forward, soat it clears the bumper and provides access.
