Abstract

Foldable ironing table comprises a rectangular cupboard unit with castors. Table offers storage space and an ironing work surface with a protective cover. Cupboard has legs resting on the floor on one side to counteract the movement of ironing, and castors on the other side to allow the assembly to be moved easily. Ironing table is fixed with hinges to the side of the cupboard, and may move from a vertical to a horizontal position. A shelf folds down to receive the ironed laundry, and a retractable iron-rest is fitted to one end of the table.
