Abstract

THE INVENTION RELATES TO A FOLDING CHILD BED. THE OBJECT OF THE INVENTION IS A BED CHARACTERIZED IN THAT IT INCLUDES, AND IN THE DEPLOYED STATE, TWO HORIZONTAL SUPERIMPOSED RECTANGULAR FRAMES, ONE 1 PROVIDED WITH SUPPORT ELEMENTS FOR THE BEDDING 2, THE OTHER 3 CONSTITUTING THE UPPER EDGE OF THE BED, A CANVAS OR ANALOGUE 13 STRETCHED BETWEEN THE TWO FRAMES 1, 3 DELIMING THE SIDE WALLS OF THE BED, THE SAID FRAMES BEING ARTICULATED SO AS TO FOLD AROUND AN AXIS 19, 20 MEDIAN HORIZONTAL TRANSVERSAL TO THE BED IN CROSSING AND INTERRUPTING ONE THE OTHER, FOUR VERTICAL UPRIGHTS 7 PROVIDED AT THEIR LOWER END WITH CASTERS 8 OR SIMILAR OR NOT AND ARTICULATED ON ONE AND THE OTHER OF THE TWO FRAMES 1, 3, FOUR RODS OF ' SPACER 9 ARTICULATED RESPECTIVELY ON ONE AND THE OTHER OF THE TWO FRAMES AND ARRANGED TO FORM AN X RESPECTIVELY WITH EACH VERTICAL UPRIGHT 7, AND A LOCKING DEVICE 10 DUDIT X IN THE OPEN POSITION. Description

The present invention relates to beds

  To facilitate the folding of the bed, it is

  advantageously provided a transverse strap 21 fixed to the lower frame 1 in the immediate vicinity of the folding axis 19 of the frame 1. This strap 21 forms for example a loop in

which passes the mattress 2.

  In order to fold the bed, the latter being deployed, it is first necessary to unlock the locking levers. For this, simply bring back to the center of the bed two rods 12 head and foot of the bed so as to exceed the tilting point of the levers 10 (when the axes 14 are in the plane of the panels 13). Claims (6)

  1. Folding child bed characterized in that it comprises, and in the deployed state, two rectangular frames   horizontal overlays, one (1) provided with elements of   one of the bedding (2), the other (3) constituting the upper edge of the bed, a fabric or the like (13) stretched between the two frames (1,3) delimiting the side walls of the bed, said frames being hinged with to fold around a transverse horizontal median axis (19,20) transverse to the bed while intersecting and interlocking with each other, four vertical uprights (7) provided at their lower end with rollers (8) or analogous, or not, and articulated on one   and the other of the two frames (1,3), four spacer rods   (9) articulated respectively on the one and the other   two frames and arranged so as to form an X respect-   with each vertical upright (7), and a device   (10) locking said X in the open position.   2. Folding child bed according to claim 1 characterized in that it comprises a strap (21) disposed transversely to the bed and fixed to the lower frame (1) in the immediate vicinity of its fold axis (19) said strap being intended to facilitate folding and manual transport from the bed in the folded state.   3. folding child bed, according to claim 1 or 2 characterized in that the locking device in the deployed position of the bed frames (7.9) X is constituted by a lever (10) articulated on one of branches (7) of the X and cooperating with a stop integral with the other branch (9).   4.
