L'invention à laquelle se rattache le présent certificat d'addition a pour objet une composition pour le démaquillage des yeux, ayant la propriété d'etre non irritante et de ne pas provoquer de gene oculaire, cette composition contenant en solution aqueuse
(i) un agent tensioactif choisi dans le groupe constitué par le monolaurate ou le monoléate de sorbitan oxyéthyléné à l'aide de 20 moles d'oxyde d'éthylène ou un mélange de ces composés,
(ii) un agent conservateur choisi dans le groupe constitué par : l'éthylmercurithiosalicylate de sodium, un sel de chlorhexidine tel que le digluconate, le diacétate, et le chlorhydrate, un sel de phénylmercure tel que le nitrate de phénylmercure, un mélange constitué de 30% de benzoate de sodium et de 70% de monochloracétamide, un composé correspondant à la formule suivante
dans laquelle
