Abstract

The packing case consists of a base which is made up of a number of parallel slats (2) and (5) separated by blocks (4) and joined by a set of cross pieces (3) so that the base can be lifted by the forks of a truck. The top pieces have a number of sockets (6) and (8) to hold the vertical strips (12) (13) (14) and (15). The lid is fitted with similar sockets and consists of a frame (9) made of cross pieces. The packing case may be collapsed when not in use and the uprights stowed horizontally.
