Abstract

Process comprises spraying at up to 200 g/m2 of surface, with an aq. compsn. contg. one or more quat. ammonium salts and a polyalkoxylated amine with 2-12C alkylene oxide gps/mol. Novel aq. compsn. comprises 0.1-1% disinfecting agent and 0.15-1.5% nonionic surfactant with the ratio of surfactant to disinfectant pref. being 1 to 1.5. In the process appts. used comprises a vertically displaceable rotating spray with means to rotate the spray on a support operating at 10-50 bars, pref. 20-30 bars, pressure. Uses much less water than present processes, is a cold treatment and is easily operated.
