Abstract

The equipment secures a mudguard to a lorry, trailer, self-propelled machine etc, having a mounting bar fixed to the vehicle and an oblong plate-type bracket fitting against the top of the mudguard. Roughly at the centre of the bracket is an arched portion bent outwards so as to accommodate the bar, and with openings on opposite sides to accommodate a clamping piece fitting under the bar and over the arched portion. The clamping piece is a U-bolt (21) inserted under the bar (2), and with screwed ends protruding upwards, over which a clamping clip (23) fits. The latter is pressed by nuts (25) against the arched portion (18) of the bracket.
