Abstract
A vibration motor has a multistage concentrator for longitudinal and torsional vibrations. It is used in sound recording and reproduction equipment. The concentrator copes with ultrasonic vibration. One stage is in contact with a piezo-electric cell. The second stage, which is the driver, is in contact with the rotor. The rotor is mounted coaxially w.r.t. the concentrator. The contact surfaces (6, 7) of the driving stage (3) of the concentrator (1) and the rotor (8) are cone-shaped. They form a tapered clutch. The first stage of the concentrator is cylindrical with the piezo-electric cell (5) at one end. The electrodes of the cell are connected to a h.f. oscillator.
