Abstract

The plate adapts a traditional downhill ski to a monoski. It consists of a base plate (A1), which is screwed (B1) to the ski, and a platform (A3) which is sufficiently large for a pair of boots and fixings placed side by side. These are joined by a plate (A2) which is bent (C1) at right angles outwards from the edges of the ski to raise the platform above the ski. The three elements can be moulded in one piece, made of metal or plastics.
