Abstract

The valve for a pressure cooker has two operating positions and one position for letting pressurised steam escape. The valve comprises a main part (1) mounted on the lid (2) of the cooker. The main part has an inner cylindrical cavity (4) the side of which has an escape hole (5), in which is slide mounted a flap (3). The flap is pressed against the seating of the valve by means of a spring (9). A control knob (13) is screwed onto the valve main part which has an inner collar with two diametrically opposite protuberances (20).
