Abstract

The mixt. contains gas bubbles of small, medium, and large size; and is fed through a sieve with a mesh size similar to that of the medium gas bubbles, prior to gas-liq. sepn. In the pref. plant, a row of sieves is mounted in a holder located between the electrolyser and a gas-liq. separator. A conventional electrolyser (15) has anolyte and catholyte circuits, each contg. a gas-liq. separator (23,20); cooler (24,21); filter (25,22); and a common pump (16) driven by motor.
