Abstract
Enzyme electrodes comprise an enzyme layer deposited on an oxygen or hydrogen peroxide-indicator electrode and covered by a dialysis membrane. The enzyme layer contains glucose oxidase and glucose dehydrogenase in the form of a homogeneous mixt. or as separate sub-layers. A predetermined amt. of glucose must be added to the test soln. The electrodes can be used to determine NAD(P) concns in physiological and microbiological solns. or for continuously monitoring changes in NAD(P) concn. They can also be modified for determn. of substrates of NAD(P)H-dependent dehydrogenases.
