Abstract

The method of mounting plastic or metal section, for example curtain rail or track for mounting 'spot' lights, uses galvanised steel brackets (4) which are fixed to the mounting surface so they are free to rotate. Shoulders (9,10) are provided on the bracket which, while the bracket is perpendicular to the section, fit between the edges of the section, but fit under the edges to provide support when the bracket is rotated through 90 degrees. Dimples (16) on the bracket click over the edge to hold the bracked in the locked position. Flats (12,13) are provided on the bracket to allow manual rotation into the supporting position. An oval hole (8) for fixing the bracket to the surface allows small adjustments of its position.
