Abstract
The design of the thermobimetal controlled switch ensures its engaged position without additional means and without being affected by vibration or by position change. The force transmitting component (13) features a nose (20) or a notch pressing the shoulder (23) of the housing (1) due to the force of a contact spring (8) and/or due to the thermobimetal element (3). The movement of the element (3) due to a temp. change is transmitted by the component (13) in the form of a plate guided in the housing. The other end of the plate (13) bears against the thermobimetal element (3) with its tip (18) while its guide surface (15) projects towards contacts (7, 8) to engage a slot (19) with the nose (20) exhibiting a tip (21).
