Abstract

The method is for improving the accessibility of miniature lamps fitted in restricted access optical systems inside projectors. They allow the optical system to be moved. One method is the fixing or crimping of a spring clip on the reflector (1) base. The clip keeps the reflector in position either by friction on the lamp walls or by locking on notches. The clip can be a flat spring (2) sufficiently wide and with a hole equal to the outer diameter of the reflector base. The flat spring is embedded in the reflector base and held by base side deflection.
