Abstract

The generator has at least one rotor, carrying at least two elongate curved blades (5, 6) lying one above the other. The individual blades (5, 6) are arranged so that they spiral around the axis (4) of the rotor, the blades (5, 6) pref. comprising plastics mouldings (7) fitting together to give a helical wind vane. Pref. the generator has two rotors, both rotor axes (4) mounted between an pair of V-shaped arms, so as to lie parallel to one another, with the same number of blades (5, 6) carried by each.
