Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un élément profilé pour l'habillage et la protection de marches d'escalier. Elle est caractérisée en ce que cet élément consiste en une bande de moquette tissée, tuftee ou aiguilletée, pliée longitudinalement à angle droit pour constituer le nez de marche, une sangle de sécurité également pliée longitudinalement étant fixée à l'intérieur du dièdre ainsi ménagé dans ladite bande grâce à une couche rigide d'une résine époxy disposée entre cette bande et cette sangle, sur la totalite de leur surface de recouvrement. Cette invention s'applique au revêtement des marches d'escalier à l'aide de moquette.
