Abstract

The harvesting machine is for animal feed such a corn-cob maize. It has a plucker and a thresher, from which the threshed crop is passed to an oscillating stepped floor with a transfer rake fixed to the back end, which brings the crop against the direction of travel via a first fall step to an oscillating nose sieve, through which flows an air flow. The material flowing over this sieve meets a second fall step. At a small distance from its front edge and below the rake (9) at the stepped floor (8), the sieve (10) has a rectangular cut out (12) which projects from the rake (9).
