Abstract
In a radiator having heating tubes (2) which are connected to one manifold (3, 4) each for the feed and return, respectively, the two manifolds (3, 4) have a plurality of openings (5), preferably threaded bores, which are sealed by spigots (6). After removal of the spigots, it is possible in addition to the heating tubes present for further heating tubes (2) to be connected to the manifolds for the purpose of subsequent enlargement of the heating surface. In this case, the external dimensions of the radiator remain unchanged, so that later expansion is easily possible without encountering difficulties due to reasons of space.
