Abstract

The hydraulic control block is for the sliding movement of a machine changing over during an operating cycle from quick-traverse to slow feed. A slide valve adjusts one of these speeds by controlling the flow rate, and flow regulators are also provided for both speeds. The flow upstream of the slide valve is regulated by a controllable valve. This is held open by the slide valve during quick-traverse. During slow feed, the valve isolates the slide-valve from the flow.
