Abstract

The exhauster cowl is for mounting above a cooking stove. It has a flat outer casing containing filters and a fan with an intake underneath discharging air through the top. It also has a continuous bottom panel (2) extending over most of the underside, and leaving only three or four intake slots with laminar effect round the periphery. At least one slot is provided at the front and two at the sides. There can be a lighting compartment at the front, shining through the front slot (3) via a transparent panel (8).
