Abstract

The light consists of lamp (1) mounted on a printed circuit board. The board (4) has a reflecting layer (3) covering it and located opposite the lamp so that light intensity is increased. The board may be in the shape of a strip. The light is intended for use in libraries etc. The rear of the board carries the conducting paths and is covered by an adhesive insulating layer or tape (5). The U-shaped support clips and electrical connections are held to the board by rivets (7) or similar. Any number of lamps can be located in line along the board depending on the area needing illuminating.
