Abstract

Pin tumblers, displaceably mounted in pin holes passing through the dividing faces between core and case, serve to release and bolt the lock, which is esp. of the cylinder type. One or more stops (10) are provided on the dividing faces (6, 7) in the area of the pin holes (8, 9). The stops can consist of a variety of different devices in different parts of the mechanism. This makes it more different for unauthorised persons to open the lock.
