Abstract

The lamp can be positioned on its magnetic-mounting base. The magnetic base allows the lamp to be appropriately positioned. The light bulb is fitted to a holder at the end of a flexible semi-rigid tube. The lamp is of low power consumption (e.g. 20W) and can operate from either 12V or 24V. The magnetic base (7) allows the lamp (4) to be attached to an appropriate surface. A selection switch in the lamp base selects either one of the two voltages. The lamp is for use in industry (e.g. the car industry), and produces a flux of about 450 lumens.
